Handicapped Children Rehabilitation Tanzania (HACRET) is a legally registered NGO committed to improving the lives of children, youth and women with disabilities in Arusha region since 2002.
<p>Handicapped Children Rehabilitation Tanzania (HACRET) was founded in 2002 as a non-partisan, non-profit making NGO. HACRET was legally registered in Tanzania Mainland on 6th May 2005, with registration No. 12187, and re-registered under NGO ACT No 24 of 2002 on 6th August 2019 with registration No: 00NGO/R2/000319.**Our Purpose:**
To provision of inclusive development and improve livelihood of People with Disabilities.**Our Vision:**
Children, youth and women with disabilities who are enjoying Rights, accessing quality Social Services, well empowered and improved livelihoods.**Our Mission:**
HACRET is committed to improve the living conditions of children, youth and women with disabilities through inclusive social services delivery, appropriate skills training, eco-friendly IGAs, promoting their participation in community-based actions and have access to self-employment to become self-sufficiency in Arusha region.**Our Mandate:**
HACRET is a legally registered NGO committed to PWDs' rights and provision of specialized services, empowerment, and improving their livelihoods.HACRET is a non-governmental, non-religious, non-political and not-for-profit organization, which endeavors to fulfill its vision, mission and objectives in the best interests of children, youth and women with disabilities in Northern Tanzania, specifically Arusha region.</p>
