Campaign Details

Campaign Details

This campaign focuses on empowering parents of children with disabilities economically so they can provide better care for their children and improve the overall livelihood of their families.

What We Do:

  • Provide skills training and vocational capacity building for parents
  • Support small business start-up and income-generating activities (IGAs)
  • Offer eco-friendly agricultural and entrepreneurship training
  • Fight against poverty and zero hunger for families in remote areas
  • Connect families with community support networks

Impact:

When parents of children with disabilities are economically empowered, the whole family benefits. Parents can afford medical care, school fees, assistive devices, and nutritious food for their children. Economic independence also reduces stigma and enables families to advocate more effectively for their children's rights within the community.

How You Can Help:

Your support will fund training programs, business start-up materials, and capacity building sessions for parents of children with disabilities in the Arusha region. You are investing not just in a parent, but in the entire family and the child's future.
